4. Installation inspection of piston ring

After placing the piston ring in the ring groove, the piston should be rotated to ensure that the ring can rotate freely in the groove without blocking. Subsequently, use a straight edge to measure the edge clearance to ensure that the maximum backlash requirements for the engine model are met. If the gap is too large or too small, you need to re-select the appropriate piston ring. Finally, confirm that the width of the piston ring should be slightly less than the width of the ring groove group to ensure the stability of the installation.
